Free trial of double-entry cloud version?

Hello. I'm the "founding" treasurer of a new non-profit Canadian charity. I have been keeping our books with Gnucash and would be quite happy with it except that it's really only good for a single user at a time. I'm looking for an online alternative so that I can share the bookkeeping with another person. We need double-entry bookkeeping. I see that it is a $70 extra. Is there a way I can try it out to see if it will suit our needs before I have to pay?

It's been a year and I don't see any option for a free trial of the double entry version. As a business, trying Akaunting without double entry will surely be disappointing.

Apparently, it is worse than no free trial for a prospective business customer. I just tried to pay for one month of the double-entry app and I cannot do that for a self-hosted install. My only options are to pay yearly or lifetime. You are putting up a lot of barriers to your potential business customers. We will look at other options now.
