Fresh install = blank page

Hi there, I've just downloaded the Akaunting zip package from your site, unzipped it, uploaded the lot with Fillezilla to my-domain/accounting/ and when the lot has been uploaded I only get a blank page. Not sure what to do. I downloaded the package a second time and repeated the process. Same result. Hope you can help.

Debbie, if you have cpanel in your hosting, it would easier to just use softaculous to install Akaunting. 

Thanks Lornie, I'll remember that tip for future use. It turns out that my php version needed to be upped from 5.4 to 5.6 and now I have the install screen (yay!) instead of a blank screen.
