Installation on RH7 / Dedicated Mysql server

Hi,
I have an issue with installation on RH7/NGINX/MARIADB.

Download ZIP file, created nginx vhost (as per example), done permissions (chown -R nginx: app folder, then 777 on cache and boostrap), had a problem with ciphers (needed manually copy .env.example to .env, then chmod 777 it) and done key:generate).

Now I'm finally on Installation screen! Added my msql details (external host) it went through, when trying to create admin user it's failing ... no such table 'companies' I'm looking on mysql database ... it's empty.

Any idea is there is any good installation guide that is not 3 points like official ones? Not to talk that needed to install mysql server on my Web server so I have mysql.sock file , why it cannot use mysql client like any other applications but moaning about this missing ...... very poor installation guide

Can somebody assist have you managed to install it on on my stack (RH/NGINX/EXTERNAL DB) and can I maybe do some manual database bootstrap? Was expecting db boostrrap is done when it validates credentials etc ... this go through but DB is still empty.

Thanks
Dariusz

This rings bells.. the .env file in the root akaunting folder has caused me a lot of issues like this.
If you download the zip file I found that the .* files in the root folder (that is the .env , .env.example) were omitted and that resulted in empty databases after installations and after upgrades (the necessary database connections are in the .env file). The permissions and owner on the files and folders are important, you need to reset these manually especially if you have manually copied the .env file.
FYI I am running Akaunting on Centos 7/nginx/mariadb

Good luck
Geoffrey
