Installing Akaunting DB on local PC?

Hi -

I have a small seasonal seedling business that went online due to COVID19. I built a managed WordPress website, and I just added the Akaunting plugin. I created an API key under Woocommerce settings. I would rather not have my data in the cloud, and wonder if I can either store my data on my web host, or install the Akaunting DB on a local PC running Windows10 Pro (currently running a PBX and Emby Server).

I'd greatly appreciate any pointers. Best, Jim

Hello,

You can use/store Akaunting whenever you want, even in Raspberry Pi.

Thank you Denis. I can't find any instructions on how to use/store Akaunting on a Windows10 system. The instructions seem to indicate that storage needs to be on server with a web domain. I'm having trouble loading the files onto my \akaunting-directory on my GoDaddy Managed Wordpress website, so I will likely migrate my domain and website over to your recommended A2 Hosting with "One Click" installation. I still would like to know how to "use/store" Akaunting on Windows10. Best, Jim.
