No tables installed in the database

Hello Akaunting team,

I am using Akaunting's latest version available on your website, and using C panel to host it.

During installation, it keeps loading after i entered the database connection information without any further action and no tables are created in the database. No errors are shown and can't tell where is the problem.

Can you help me ?

Thanks in Advance.

Make sure you already have an empty database. UTF8 (NOT mb4) seems to be "required" -- but who knows?!

There is no clear requirements list anywhere regarding the DB (charset, colation, password, table type(s), password restrictions, etc.). Likewise, there are no details given regarding required permissions for files and directories.

If yo9u delve deeply, you will find this is a longstanding issue. Many of us have no solution. In spite of successfully running many servers, PHP apps, etc. we are told "use the hosted version if you can't figure it out."

Take a look at the following threads:

I am disappointed and not hopeful this will ever be addressed.

Even if the developers can not duplicate users' problems, why are they not answering the requirements questions clearly?!

Thanks a lot for your answer, i also didn't find any reason for this and i tried more than one host (Like Digital ocean droplets, C Panel, Azure) and even my localhost, nothing works as it should be.
