Not able to download core - 20%

I set up Akaunting using xampp. So, the path to php.exe doesn't contain whitespaces (C:\xampp\php\php.exe).

However, updating to 2.0.12 from 2.0.11 is giving me error "Not able to download core".

When I tried updating, it says " Downloading Akaunting 2.0.12" and then the progress stops at 20% for a while and reports the above error: "Not able to download core".

P.S. I just installed akaunting recently, the version 2.0.11 itself. So i dont know if it's only for this update or not.
