Quickbooks app update fails -- deleted yet cannot re-install

Installed: Akaunting is version 2.1.26. When attempting to update - "QuickBooks" app (other app updates worked fine). (Stalls at 40%) with this error: " ZipArchive::extractTo(): Invalid or uninitialized Zip object ".

Deleted Quickbook app from ftp "modules" -- now cannot re-install from Akaunting (app marketplace indicates Quickbooks is "installed"). Restored backup copy of Quickbooks -- same failure...

I cannot lodge a Support ticket w/o the app actually being installed -- its not in the API area drop-down list for Support.

Welcome any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Hello,

We've changed the strategy of migration apps (QuickBooks, Xero, etc) so they're now available only for our Cloud service, which is also free.

I appreciate your prompt response.

Annoying that I've spent a few hours trying to fix this glitch.

I'd advocate putting a *Note* on the apps where you've changed implementation strategy. It's helpful to know about changes to apps we use and rely on -- especially BEFORE we waste time trying to make them work (as we were accustomed).

Hello again. Further to my earlier email -- I set-up a company on your cloud service. Added the Quickbooks app -- it indicates "installed" on the apps marketplace page and under "My Apps". However, Quickbooks does not appear in "Settings". I've logged out and back in -- same failure.
This app functioning really is important to us for company file migrations.
Any ideas on how we may get its functionality restored? Thanks!
