Tried to upgrade to v3 but data seems lost

Was on v2 for a long time, tried to upgrade to v3 which caused it crash.

Migrated to a new server by dumping my v2 db installing a new instance (v3) on Digital Ocean and importing my v2 db assuming it could get upgraded.

Had lots of migrations not able to run against my v2 db. Manually fixed them all but none of my data is loading now, my invoices / payments etc are in the db I can see them with sql but seems v2 and v3 may be incompatible?

Any pointers?

Hello there

Akaunting discontinued support for v2 about 2 years ago and has been developing the v3 version for more than 2 years.

There are a lot of changes both in terms of interface and database, so you should be careful when upgrading.

I can suggest you 2 methods.
- You can open a ticket to Akaunting and ask which dedicated support option they will make this upgrade with
- You can request this upgrade service from Akaunting developers and ask them to make this transition for you and get a price.
