Update from 1.3.17 -> 2.0.6 fails

When i try to update (clicking force update button) the update starts then hangs with Downloading Akaunting 2.0.6 files. Then a red error shows below it saying "can not download!"

any idea how to fix this? i run in debug mode but no exceptions logged

Just tried running the update locally via a backup and got the same error as well. So doesnt appear to be permission based from what i can tell
