Update to Akaunting 2.0.26: Not able to download core

I am trying to update from version Version 2.0.22 to 2.0.26 but fails at the 20% mark. Error is Not able to download core.

Need help to resolve this.

You can check the log files located under the following folder:

storage/logs/

Check the logs but do not see any relevant issue.

any help on this error? still not able to upgrade.

Only way for me to overcome the problem was to take a backup of the .env file and install from the original akaunting.zip file
after that copy the backed up .env to the installed folder and set permissions accordingly and run php artisan migrate in the main folder.
