Upload files

Hi there. Very simple question and I did look for answers here first. When I upload the software onto my server, should I simply upload the whole unzipped folder "Akaunting_3.1.8-Stable" to the root directory of my server? The Akaunting website instructions say "upload all the required files" but no explanation as to what those may be.
Thank you!

Ok, I'll answer this myself. I'm on a cPanel server and the main points are these. Make sure you are able to upload the the whole unzipped folder (which you should rename to simply "akaunting" by FTP client to your public_html folder (immediately under your home directory). My FTP client details actually did not allow this at first but after FTP uploading to another subfolder location on my server I then copied it using cPanel file manager direct to location "/public_html". Then I finally was able to access the system on my browser at location mydomain/akaunting (where "mydomain" is your own domain name). I also had to create a Database on my cPanel server using their Database Wizard, giving it a Database name, User name and Password, and then put those details plus "localhost" in the database section of the initial setup. I'm still working on setting up, am a bit stymied by the Wave app not being available to OnPremise accounts (yet, but I'm hoping it will be made available for purchase, surely Akaunting will sell it for extra income potential?). Thanks to Jeremy Phipps and Leonardo Gomes and a 3 year old discussion in this forum!
