Using laravel 5.5 + packages in akaunting

Hey I have a laravel 5.5 package that I wanted to add to akaunting , Can I use Semver here https://github.com/akaunting/version, May I know is this possible and other options

I'm sorry but Akaunting software works on Laravel 5.4
