Cant get to work right Roles and Permissions in a new user

I wanted to create a new role just for adding/editing/deleting vendors/customers

1) create user TestUser1 (with default role: manager)

2) create Role VendorCustomer (name and code: vendorcustomer)

3) create Permission (name and code: vendorcustomer)

4) went back to edit TestUser1, trying to set the default role to: VendorCustomer (just created), but still shows the same two Roles to select, I mean "admin", "Manager"

So, I cant select the new Role I have created... is it a bug o is it me wrong-doing?

Thanks,

I'm not able to reproduce such an issue Sebastian, I can create new roles and assign users to them :(

Thanks for your response Denis.  Have tried again with version 1.1.6 also, and it happens the same.

But seems that you have first to create the permission and then the role.  If you create first the role, then the permission (and then add the permission created to the role) it wont appear in the user add page.  Even if you re-check the permission in the role... it wont appear.  Issue?

Update: its not the order I create the role/permission, found that if you tick "Read Customer Panel" permission in a role, it wont appear when creating/editing a user... tested and re-tested (too many ticks to test)

Yes, that's more than normal. Users can't access the customer panel.

Thanks, I would try to understand that later when I understand better the roles/permissions.
