Bill vs. Invoice

Could anyone please explain the difference between Bill and Invoice?

In Norwegian it's more or less the same thing, just different naming, and thus I don't see why both are used in Akaunting.

I have never seen any Norwegian accounting system using both Bills and Invoices ... :)

Bill is used for expense I mean you receive it, Invoice is for income so you create it. In Turkish, there isn't even a different naming :)

Ah, I see. A bill is what we would refer to as a 'Incoming Invoice' (a received invoice).

Thanks.
