Adding a New Tax Rate

Add your Sales, Excise taxes, VAT, or other taxes on Akaunting and track them with the tax summary report.

You can add a tax while creating an Invoice. Read the details here.

Adding a New Tax Rate:

  • Go to Settings on the Sidebar.
  • Select Taxes from the expanded Navigation Menu.
  • Click New tax.
  • Enter the following details:
    • Name of tax
    • Rate (%)
    • Type: Choose from Compound, Fixed, Inclusive, Normal, or Withholding.
  • Then, Save.
