Hi everyone, this might be slightly off topic but it’s affecting how I record things in Akaunting so I thought I’d ask here.
I’m using Akaunting to track my income and expenses, but I rely on my National Bank of Abu Dhabi account for actual balances. Lately I’ve noticed that when money comes in, especially salary or transfers, the balance shown in the mobile app doesn’t always update right away even though I get the credit message.
Because of that, I’m not always sure what the correct figure is when I enter transactions into Akaunting. I want to avoid recording the wrong balance and then having to adjust everything later.
I was thinking maybe checking through ATM receipts or internet banking on desktop might be more reliable than the app, but I’m not sure if that really makes a difference.
If anyone here manages their accounts alongside Akaunting and uses NBAD, how do you usually confirm the correct balance before recording entries?
