You can create, manage and switch between dashboards on Akaunting.

Creating a dashboard

To create a new dashboard:

  • Click the three vertical dots at the top of your Dashboard to reveal a dropdown menu.
  • Select Create dashboard

  • Give a name to the dashboard and assign a user.
  • Then Save

You should switch from the current dashboard to display your newly created dashboard.

  • Go to Dashboard on the navigation menu.
  • Click on the dashboard to reveal a list of your dashboards.
  • Select your preferred dashboard to switch views.

You can customize your dashboards by adding or deleting widgets.

Adding Widgets to the dashboard

Akaunting widgets display information from installed apps on the dashboard.

The default widgets on the company dashboard are Date Picker, Receivables, Payables, Cash flow, Profit & Loss, Expenses, and Account Balance.

You can add widgets for installed apps such as employees, payroll, projects, etc.

To add a widget:

  • Click the three vertical dots at the top of your Dashboard to reveal a dropdown menu.
  • Select add widget.
  • Enter the Name, Type (this depends on installed apps), Width, and Sort number.
  • Then, Save.

Delete a widget by clicking the three vertical dots on a widget and selecting delete.

Managing the dashboard

You can add and manage multiple dashboards.

  • Click the three vertical dots at the top of your Dashboard to reveal a dropdown menu.
  • Select Manage Dashboards
  • On the Manage Dashboards page, you can Switch, Edit or Delete a dashboard by hovering over it to reveal options.
  • Also, you can add a new dashboard by clicking New Dashboard in the top right corner.
