Adding a new role and defining Permissions

  • Click New Role.
  • Enter the required details and set permissions.
  • Then, Save.

You can select the new roles when creating a new user or editing the details of a user.

You can set permissions for every feature on your Akaunting account. Choose what each user can see, edit or delete.

Defining Roles and Permissions: Admin panel access on Akaunting
  • Tick the Admin Panel checkbox
  • Scroll down to select the Features/Pages you want to grant access to.
  • Then, Save.

Please note that ticking the Admin Panel checkbox doesn’t automatically give access to all Features/Pages. Akaunting allows the flexibility to choose Features/Pages for Admin roles.

If you want a user to have access to all Features/Pages, tick the Select Everything checkbox at the top.

Also, a User can’t have access to both the Admin Panel and Client Portal. Both features have different functions and are managed separately. You should create different Users for Admin Panel access and Client Portal access, respectively.
