Importing Product Variants

Akaunting makes it easy to import and manage your product variants in one place.

You need the Inventory App to add product variants and perform other Inventory management functions. See how to Install or Purchase an app on Akaunting.

Importing Product Variants:

• Go to Inventory on the Navigation menu.

• Click Variants from the expanded menu options.
• On the Variants page, click Import or the ellipses icon at the top left corner.
• Select Import from the ellipses dropdown options.
• On the Import Variants page, Download the sample file and fill in the provided fields.

On the Options tab, you can enter the following details:

• Name: Product variant name.
• Enabled: Enter TRUE to enable the Product variant.

On the Option Values tab, you can enter the following details:

• Option name: Size, Color, etc.
• Name: L, XL, XXL, Red, Yellow, etc.

• Save the file as XLS or XLSX.
• Upload your file to Akaunting.
• Click Import and wait for a few seconds. This may vary depending on the size of the data.

You’ll get a notification on the sidebar notification icon. Also, a confirmation will be sent to your email once the upload is completed.
