Creating products or services group

You can group your products/services. You need the Inventory App for the product/service grouping feature. Check out how to Install and Purchase an app on Akaunting.

Creating products or services group:

• Go to Inventory on the Navigation Menu.

• Select Groups from the expanded menu options.
• Click New Group.
• Enter the General Information – Name, Category, Description, and Picture.
• Select applicable Tax(es)
• Choose a Unit – Dozen, Grams, Pairs, Pieces, Box, etc.
• Add Product/Service Variant(s) – Name and Values.
• Then, Save.

Adding a New Category for Product or Service Group

• Click Category and then New Category.

• Enter a Name for the category.
• Define the Category color.
• Then, Save.

Adding Tax(es) to your Product or Service Group:

• Click Tax and then New Tax.
• Enter a Name for the Tax.
• Enter the Rate.
• Then, Save.

You can add multiple Taxes to a Group.
