Adding a New Project

Adding a new project is critical in successfully managing projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Create a new project, track time with timesheets, collaborate with team members, add tasks, and see all income, expenses, invoices, and bills for effective cost management.

You need to Install or Purchase the Projects feature to start managing your projects on Akaunting. After installation,

Adding a New Project:

  • Go to Projects on the Navigation Menu.
  • On the Projects page, Click New Project.
  • Enter the Project’s General information – Name, Customer, Description, Start/End Dates, and Team Members.
  • Enter the Billing details – Currency and Billing Type (Fixed Hours, Project Hours, or Tasks hours)
  • Attach any document if applicable.
  • Then, Save.
