Migrating to Akaunting from Invoice Ninja

Invoice Ninja does great with Invoicing. However, it doesn’t provide a complete financial management solution to support your business growth.

Akaunting provides an intuitive UI/UX that combines financial and business management to deliver growth and continuity.

Migrating to Akaunting from Invoice Ninja

The following steps will help you successfully move your business data from Invoice Ninja to Akaunting.

After Installation, go to settings on Side Panel and select Invoice Ninja.

You should log in to your Invoice Ninja account from the Migration App dashboard by clicking on “Auth” and entering the required account details.

Migrating as an Akaunting on-premise user

If you’ve installed Akaunting on-premise on your server, apply the following steps:

  1. Go to https://invoicing.co
  2. Sign in to Invoice Ninja.
  3. Click Account Management, then click on API Tokens.
  4. Click on +sign, then enter the name of the token and Save. The Token will show up.
  5. Copy Token to Akaunting > Settings > InvoiceNinja page and Save.

Note: If you use custom hosting InvoiceNinja, set the custom URL to your application without HTTPS at the beginning and last slash.

The Invoice Ninja Migration App lets you import:

  • Credit notes (credit debit notes app)
  • Customers
  • Estimates
  • Transactions (income & expense)
  • Invoices (recurring also)
  • Items
  • Taxes
  • Vendors
